Jesse began his career working as a draftsman in the summer of 2006. After working for three years for another company, Jesse ventured off and started his own company, KL Drafting & Design, in 2009. Jesse learned all aspects of the building permit industry throughout these years. Jesse is very familiar with the zoning and building codes of all the jurisdictions within San Diego County.  Any size job, Jesse would handle, from retaining walls, decks, all the way up to custom homes and multi-family dwellings.

Through the years, the workload has expanded and has brought Jesse to where he is today. In 2022, Jesse decided to build a team to keep up on the workload and fast-track projects by keeping them in-house for as long as possible, where PRO-CAL Design kicked off.

Christian has over 13 years of San Diego real estate experience. Beginning from simple property management, Christian has built his business over the years by expanding his repertoire to include residential sales, property flips, and now includes full-fledged investor-based projects. It was Christian's vision to make a streamlined design and engineering venture that has now led into what PRO-CAL has become.

Luke graduated from Cal Poly SLO and has been in the structural engineering field for 7 years. Before Joining PRO-CAL he spent 5 years designing a variety of projects for the largest structural firm in San Diego. These projects included large scale wood construction, multi-level concrete podiums, and steel structures with various seismic force resisting systems.

Luke was a project engineer on The Society Apartments, which consisted of over 950 units and 1 million square feet. He has also designed new structures and performed structural conditions assessments for the Navy, worked on miscellaneous projects at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and worked on renovations for the Hotel Del Coronado. Luke specializes in the design of wood structures including tenant improvements, ADUs, single family homes, and large scale commercial and multi-family buildings.

As Operations Manager at Pro-Cal Design and Engineering, Anna plays a central role in keeping projects moving and the team supported. She oversees internal operations, manages consultant coordination, and helps streamline workflows across partner companies and departments. Since joining Pro-Cal as a Project Coordinator, she’s helped refine company systems and supported the company's steady growth. Her favorite part of the job is working alongside such a talented and collaborative team.

Anna relocated to San Diego after earning her degree in Marketing from San Francisco State University. Prior to that, she served in the U.S. Navy, where she discovered her passion for operational work. Her time in the military gave her a foundation in structure, leadership, and adaptability.

Outside of work, she enjoys playing golf, reading, and spending time with her family.

Yahaira has been in the Architectural, Structural, Design Consulting, and Drafting field since 2014. Through the combination of business, project management, and leadership skills, Yahaira has led a team, coordinated projects, worked on residential and mixed-use projects and gained knowledge on permitting projects for small additions, custom residential projects, track home developments and small light commercial tenants improvements. Yahaira's knowledge of codes, local municipal codes, and local City and County processes for permitting provides a comprehensive addition to the PRO-CAL team.

Mary started her career working as a Junior Architect in the Philippines in 2021. She worked on a range of projects in residential, commercial, and institutional building types. In 2022, she was partnered with a junior engineer to handle three distinct residential projects, and an on-site commercial project that has a floor area of 15,000 square feet. With these experiences, she not only enhanced her planning and design skills. She also learned how to get permits and comprehend a project from concept to completion.

In December of 2022, she moved to San Diego in search of greater professional advancement. Through her perseverance and proven skills, she obtained her first job in PRO-Cal Design and Engineering as an Architectural Designer. She has been showcasing her talent and competence in the field since May of 2023.

Denisse started her career in Washington DC where she grew up. Moved to San Diego to focus on residential architecture, focusing on creating living spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. In addition to Architecture, her experience includes metal fabrication and product design.

Denisse brings creative and technical skills to her role as a Residential Designer. Denisse is adept at using Revit, an architectural software, to produce designs, construction documents, and 3D visualizations for clients.  Detail-oriented and organized, she is committed to getting each aspect of a project completed with precision and timeliness.
